How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly from the app. Follow these steps:
- Open AI Budget Assistant on your device
- Go to Settings (gear icon in the bottom tab or home screen)
- Tap Profile
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your user profile (name, email, preferences)
- All expense and income records
- Budgets, categories, tags, and projects
- Wallet and exchange data
- AI chat history and usage logs
- Subscription and payment metadata
- Push notification tokens
- All data in shared accounts you own
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please make sure to export any data you need before deleting your account.
Data Retention
After account deletion:
- Your personal data is deleted immediately from our servers
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained for service improvement
- Stripe payment records are retained by Stripe per their data retention policy
- Local data on your device (SQLite database) remains until you uninstall the app
